Mandelsohn is a partner in the firm's tax and estate planning practice.
Richard's practice emphasizes complex tax compliance and planning for
closely-held businesses and estates. A specialist in tax free exchanges
in real estate, Richard also has vast knowledge of the proper
structuring of business acquisitions and liquidations.
Richard's career includes seven years experience with one of the "big
four" accounting firms. His membership in professional organizations
includes the American Institute of CPAs and the California Society of
CPAs. Richard is also a past president of both the Los Angeles and San
Fernando Valley Estate Planning Councils.
Richard earned a Master of Science Degree in engineering from the
University of Connecticut and a Master of Arts Degree in Accounting from
California State University, Northridge.
